As you have probably deduced at this point, Null Parameter is a pseudonym. The name itself was started when I was first signing up for Xbox Live, and all of my usual usernames were taken, and I wanted to avoid the onslaught of random numbers that plagues most other gamertags. Finally, I decided to dive into my geek-side and pull out some programming lingo. Obviously, I ended up finding one that worked, and the name has stuck ever since. I’ve moved on to using it in nearly everything I do, Twitter, PSN, Forums and then, obviously, here.
Going a bit deeper into my past, I’ve always been a programmer at heart, which stemmed from my father being a programmer. I knew my career path starting in eighth grade, and worked towards it for the rest of my school age days. Now, I say “worked” in the lowest possible regards, because I’ve always had an easy time with school, and didn’t really have to work to attain what I have. I went through high school, taking all of the available computer courses, and by the time I had finished all of those my Sophomore year, I moved on to taking programming classes at a local University. This allowed me to enter my college career very well off and finish my Bachelors degree in under three years. After that, I started working at a major computing company as a Software Engineer, and I’m still working there today. All of that before I barely turned 21; not too bad, if I do say so myself.
Once that was all said and done, I decided that I’d take the next big leap in life and start a family. I’m happily married to a beautiful woman, who gave birth to my beautiful daughter, and is currently pregnant with a bouncing baby boy. I’ve done just about everything I can so far, and plan to continue on just living my life, some of which you’ll probably hear about here.
